A manifestation of reduced wear is lower temperatures. This is clearly noticeable under stressful workloads such as heavy hauling and racing. It may not be so apparent under low workload, such as in-town driving or easy highway miles.
Spanning over 40 races of the CHAMPTRUCK World Series 2015 season, Class-8 big rig race trucks used MoGlide while friction- and residue-related measurements were being taken. An excerpt of results reported by Detroit Diesel Engineer Robert Ball:

ASTM D4172 (Four Ball Friction Test) is the standard measurement of wear and friction trusted by SAE engineers. Petro Lubricant Labs of Lafayette, New Jersey tested Shell Rotella T 15W40 without and with MoGlide Heavy Duty Metal Protection. MoGlide reduced friction by 36% and wear by 22%. Those are the best performance numbers we are aware of.
Extends Oil Life
MoGlide extends the life of any conventional or synthetic lubricant. For example, in a semi truck using conventional oil, the change interval can be extended to 40,000 miles/64,374 km — just change the oil filter at 15,000 miles/24,140 km and 30,000 miles/48,240 km, top off the oil as necessary, and add 1 oz MoGlide per quart of oil topped off.
Extending oil usage beyond the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended oil change interval should be done only in conjunction with oil analysis. That way, you always know the status of your oil. MoGlide has a free oil analysis program. We encourage customers who are extending their oil to have oil analysis conducted incrementally at a laboratory which does not sell oil changes.
